Weaving our Worlds logo featuring a loom and words Learn. Agitate. Liberate.

Weaving Our Worlds is a grassroots anti-authoritarian, internationalist collective formed in 2024 in Vancouver, unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ lands. With the consolidation of fascist and right-wing politics locally & globally, we want to connect with and inspire the greatest number of people to learn, agitate, and act for total liberation.

We envision collective liberation where everyone has a dignified life and the ability to provide it for their kin, where we are all free of oppression, exploitation and misery, and where we live in right relationship to one another and the earth.

Our Shared Values:

We are anti-authoritarian internationalists in the heart of empire. We are committed to transnational solidarity with and across progressive, anti-imperialist, left movements for justice and liberation. We maintain a confrontational attitude to power. Our comradeship is with people fighting power from the left and below – not with imperialists, capitalists, dictators, liberalism, or colonial state formations.

We do not think systems of power can be reformed. We seek the abolition of all oppressive institutions, including settler states, policing, borders, military & prison industrial complexes, extractive corporations, sweatshops, big banks, and capitalist trade agreements. We fight gendered racial capitalism, settler-colonialism, and all interconnected forms of domination from Zionism to transmisogyny.

We are committed to world-building political education. In our corner of the world, we strengthen solidarities between the local and global through commitment to education and nuanced analysis. Freedom struggles that have laid fertile ground are not just soundbites; they demand study in struggle.

We believe in organization, action and diversity of tactics. Radical direct action, mass movements, and people power are the drivers of revolutions. There are no shortcuts; we are committed to long-haul organizing and emergent strategy, including through actions, popular education, creative resistance, alliance building, mutual aid, and fronts of struggle that maximize the conditions for life and liberation. We affirm the right to struggle, including armed struggle, and, while internal tactical debates are healthy, we do not publicly condemn any forms of leftist resistance.

We imagine and make new worlds every day. We are guided by values of community-building, collaboration across movement groups, interdependence, and an anti-oppression ethic. In the face of capitalist-colonial commodification and isolation, we choose to learn and lean into communication, relationality, care, imagination, abundance, humility, and grace.
